Let’s hope this post makes sense because I left my mind at Gramercy Theatre.  Hopefully, it’s still intact, because Dev blew my mind to bits.  BITS.  Nina Sky started off and they were HOT.  “Move Ya Body” and “Turnin’ Me On” were obviously the crowd’s favorites, but they also teased us with some songs off their album, set to be released later this year, called Nicole & Natalie. I honestly can’t wait to listen to their reggae beats some more.

Then, Wynter Gordon took the stage and I couldn’t handle it anymore.  She was phenomenal!  She could’ve performed her same few songs over and over all night and I would not have gotten sick of them.  Why she hasn’t been recognized more than Rihanna in terms of sexiness, I don’t know, but “Dirty Talk” just makes dancing in the hot, sweaty crowd with beautiful people even better.

Outasight brought his goods, and once he started to rap, his swag never left.  Yes, I did use the word “swag” in a sentence. YOLO.  His song, “Tonight is the Night”, is so full of life and energy that there should be a rule: if you go out and party without listening to the song beforehand, then you’re automatically down 5 points.  5 points in what?  I don’t know.  You’re just losing.

Dev brought the show to a whole new level like I can’t even explain.  We were there for Dev, and everyone on the floor (yes, there were some people who chose to sit in the seats rather than party while standing) was freaking out.  What made the night better was that she released her new album two days ago, and we were the first people to hear her songs live.  I bought her new album, The Night the Sun Came Up, at midnight and couldn’t wait to hear every single song.  It got so insane, I dreamt about the concert for two nights.  “Lightspeed” needs to be her next single, because it’s as good, if not better, as “In the Dark”.  Basically, Dev is a cloud and she rained her electronic… rain on us.  That joke went down the sunpump.  In all honesty though, the concert was so fantastic that I can’t describe it with words or photos.  If you weren’t able to make it, be sure to buy Dev’s new album and blast it because every beat sounds like a bomb, just the way I like it.

One of the best mashups I’ve heard in awhile! This is an electro/bass heavy mashup – the best kind! With samples from Ellie Goulding, Bassnectar, Wynter Gordon, deadmau5, Lady Gaga, and more… It’s a KILLER to say the very least. If you’re a fan of electro-mashups, this is a must download for you.

Today is the official US release date of Tinie Tempah’s album, Disc-overy, and I have to say – I’m PUMPED! Yesterday, I went to his private performance at Z100′s PC Richard & Son Theater and I was actually blown away. I really only knew a couple songs by him, including “Written In The Stars”, which went platinum yesterday in the US. To celebrate, Eric Turner shared the stage for a special performance of their hit single.

For a man named Tinie, he was definitely not that Tinie. He worked the stage/the crowd so hard, and though it was a small gathering, everyone was super excited: screaming, fist-pumping, etc. The Tinie Army invaded pre-show and handed out Tinie sunglasses, posters, t-shirts…you name it, the Army had it. Everyone was decked out in full Tinie-attire, suited up for an awesome concert.  In a short but sweet set, Tinie played his hits and a live mini-mixtape that everyone (myself included) went nuts for. It included Taio Cruz (fellow Brit-mate), Far East Movement, and Swedish House Mafia jams, as well as others. So much fun.

We also got the chance to meet up with Wynter Gordon at the show, who was super sweet. She told us (drumroll please)… she’s going on tour with J.Lo!! That’s soo exciting and I will definitely be hitting up that show. You should too. Look out for a new Wynter single with Laidback Luke – BAM!

“Pride (It Gets Better)” (Click to DL)

This is a new Wynter Gordon song for the It Gets Better campaign against gay bullying. If I was a celeb I would totes be all over this campaign, I think it’s a really good cause. This is a fun, poppy, dance song designed specifically for the gays raving in the clubs – AKA it’s awesome. Wynter collab’d with David Guetta on this track for their second collaboration together, the first being “Dirty Talk”.
