New favorite pop song? No, but the possibilities are endless. If my calculations are correct, this will be a mayjah radio hit. The combo of Usher and David Guetta is decently epic in the electro-pop world. This is one of those songs that gives me goosebumps. Goosepimples if you’re British.

This is super late to post, but I wanted to put it out there in case anyone was wondering if they should go see Usher on his OMG Tour. The answer is: HELL YES!

Usher was incredible – he really knows how to pump up a crowd, including having one-on-one sexytime on-stage with one lucky lady, amazing theatrics, shirtless action… He played all his hits, and I was beyond excited to hear those four words “Peace up, A-Town down” leave his lips. I actually took my mom to this concert for Mother’s Day, and one thing we noticed was how diverse the crowd was – not just in race or ethnicity, but in age. There were 4-year-old children there with their parents, teens, college students, 60-year-old couples, high people, drunk people, hot messes, conservative people.. the list goes on. It’s amazing to me how large Usher’s appeal is and how his music speaks to so many people. With all the people in the arena, everyone seemed to be dancing together and just enjoying each other’s company. It was really a fun experience. Plus, Usher was so hawt – his vocals were insanely on point, his dance moves were shocking, and he also did an MJ tribute, skits with his dancers, flew over the crowd.. I don’t want to give too much away, but he really was an incredible performer.

As far as Akon goes, I was really expecting the worst. Luckily, I was proven wrong. Though I’m 99.9% positive his mic was turned off and he didn’t sing at all…He put on a really good show! He was super high-energy, he played the bongos, had an awesome set, and was just so much FUN to be around! He showed off his roots, he was funny, he stripped a little – really a great performer. Now I understand his draw – his songs are fun and danceable, and people are just expecting a good time out of him, which is exactly what he gave us.

The Cataracs – I’m a big fan of them. However, I was a bit confused by their set. I mean, their DJ set no doubt was incredible. I was eating that shet UP. But the crowd was not! It was almost like no one cared that much and they went on too early or something – the arena was barely filled, and the seats that were filled were not paying attention. I feel like the Cataracs may not have been ready for an arena tour, even though upon hearing that they were on the OMG Tour I was super pumped. I don’t know, it was kind of weird, and I feel like people didn’t understand what was going on. They didn’t really move much either.

To sum things up – if you’re looking for a fun concert, this OMG Tour is a must-see. Especially if Dev is an opening act as well (she joined the tour too!)

Woah.. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Actually, it’s more of a; stick that in your club and pump it. What a banger. This is going to be a huge radio hit, obv. With a lineup like that, how can you go wrong? Lil’ Wayne sounds a little weird in this. I’m not sure why, he just sounds like a weirdo. Good song though. Boom.

Wowza. This is a crazy track. A lot of Top 40 is starting to sound the same, like Usher, Enrique, Taio Cruz, and more have very similar sounding songs. This one definitely fits into that category, but nonetheless is superb. Definition of a BANGER. Producer RedOne remixed the track and made it…..just wow. Hear it for yourself. I love Usher!

Super excited about these Friday songs and really liked what they’ve done so far. Word on the street is next Friday’s will be Miley Cyrus’s “See You Again” Featuring Kinetics & One Love… Just kidding. Only in my dreams…
