What’s that sound?  Nope, that’s not the sound of bricks falling from the sky.  That’s the sound of your heart pumping out of your chest.  You might want to check that out… Or you could let it go and find yourself in HEAVEN (that was clever, right)?  So here are two incredible DJ’s blending the pop classics “Heaven” and Listen to Your Heart” with bass-exploding beats and I could not feel more alive.  Like, WOW!  I never thought someone would remix these songs because they’re already engrained in everyone’s heads, but dang diggy dang am I impressed.  There’s a little bit of Dev, a little bit of Tyga, and a little bit of piss on my floor but hey, I don’t really care.  How about you listen to your heart, better yet, listen to your eardrums, and buy this song.  A little eargasm everyday?  Please.

Let’s hope this post makes sense because I left my mind at Gramercy Theatre.  Hopefully, it’s still intact, because Dev blew my mind to bits.  BITS.  Nina Sky started off and they were HOT.  “Move Ya Body” and “Turnin’ Me On” were obviously the crowd’s favorites, but they also teased us with some songs off their album, set to be released later this year, called Nicole & Natalie. I honestly can’t wait to listen to their reggae beats some more.

Then, Wynter Gordon took the stage and I couldn’t handle it anymore.  She was phenomenal!  She could’ve performed her same few songs over and over all night and I would not have gotten sick of them.  Why she hasn’t been recognized more than Rihanna in terms of sexiness, I don’t know, but “Dirty Talk” just makes dancing in the hot, sweaty crowd with beautiful people even better.

Outasight brought his goods, and once he started to rap, his swag never left.  Yes, I did use the word “swag” in a sentence. YOLO.  His song, “Tonight is the Night”, is so full of life and energy that there should be a rule: if you go out and party without listening to the song beforehand, then you’re automatically down 5 points.  5 points in what?  I don’t know.  You’re just losing.

Dev brought the show to a whole new level like I can’t even explain.  We were there for Dev, and everyone on the floor (yes, there were some people who chose to sit in the seats rather than party while standing) was freaking out.  What made the night better was that she released her new album two days ago, and we were the first people to hear her songs live.  I bought her new album, The Night the Sun Came Up, at midnight and couldn’t wait to hear every single song.  It got so insane, I dreamt about the concert for two nights.  “Lightspeed” needs to be her next single, because it’s as good, if not better, as “In the Dark”.  Basically, Dev is a cloud and she rained her electronic… rain on us.  That joke went down the sunpump.  In all honesty though, the concert was so fantastic that I can’t describe it with words or photos.  If you weren’t able to make it, be sure to buy Dev’s new album and blast it because every beat sounds like a bomb, just the way I like it.

Martin Solveig AND Dev? Now that I see it happening, I wonder why I never saw it coming. Their styles match perfectly. A match made in electroheaven. It’s a real place. Look it up. It exists.

    Drop it.

This is INCREDIBLE for the summer. Perfection. Best collab of the summer (thus far!). It has a little Michael Franti & Spearhead in it. So chill, so catchy, so everything I’m looking for in a summer song. Get a free download of the song by liking Shwayze’s Facebook page above.

This song came out sooo long ago and the video JUST came out. However, that only helped it succeed – raking in over 1 million views in its first week. Holy guacamole. I’ve loved this song since it came out, but I can’t say the same about the video. It’s kind of DISGUSTING. You’ll like this if you are a guy or a lesbian. Otherwise, here’s your disclaimer: Jillboard does not support whore-house music videos with excessive, dirty touching. There’s a difference between innuendo/suggestive material and straight up sucio. I really expected better things for this video. The song’s still awesome though. AWESOME.
