Crazy, crazy electro album for your thirsty ears! Infected Mushroom is so freakin’ cool (understatement of the year). They have to be one of the most, if not the most diverse electronic musicians out there. They’ve been around for so long that my dad even liked them. Hashtag Dinosaur music! Just kidding. My dad and Infected Mushroom were not alive when the dinosaurs were, because they too probably would have drowned in oil (that’s what happened, right?) I’m having trouble formulating words with this album.

Infected Mushroom has experimented with a huge range of electronic sounds throughout their career, and this new album is just the tip of the iceberg of IM tunes. As their eighth studio album, the duo has spent over two years creating this masterpiece. It’s current but different and original. It’s bass-heavy, glitchy, noisy, fabulous, dubsteppy, heavy, fun, upbeat (at parts)… oh god. It’s the final frontier of electronica. I couldn’t pick a favorite song on the album because I listened to it straight through without looking at titles..woops. The first song, “Never Mind”, is OUT OF THIS WORLD though. It’s the feeling of Thor and The Hulk punching each other square in the neck at the same time. “Nothing To Say” is like the feeling of Iron Man blindly falling through the portal to two different universes. I didn’t just watch The Avengers or anything.. I just can’t believe one song could be so good and have so many different sections. It’s not even in the same time the whole song. I don’t even think it’s in just two times the whole song. It’s scary good. Infected Mushroom has got to be the Bach of machine manipulation.

I’m vibing out so hard to this album. MUST MUST DOWNLOAD for electronic music fans! That’s a double-must! Do you know what that means? It means ..MUST.

Also, here’s a sneak peak at their new live show that will accompany the new album tour. It’s like watching an alien electronica show. Awesome.

Here’s a special, socially conscious video with some *WUBZEST. It brings the wub hard, as well as the message. It’s art in it’s finest shape: a transforming hat. I highly recommend watching this transforming hat art and getting your daily dose of heavy electro oil-step.

*WUBZEST: Noun. An electronic song with a dubstep zest; A zest of wub.

Yes! This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Kids sat down with Noisey and reviewed “Bangarang” by Skrillex. They then took candy ecstasy and left it all on the dancefloor. You know that urge when you see cute things, you just want to destroy them, and you’re not sure why?! I want to destroy these kids because they’re TOO. EFFING. CUTE. I might steal that one blonde girl (metaphorically). I will put her in my pocket and run away (still a metaphor). There will be an amber alert (THIS IS A METAPHOR).

Dudes! Can we get down with this song? Please? Holy crap. This song just SCREAMS Saturday night. I bring to you a balls-to-the-wall, tub-thumping JAM, produced by Amsterdam-based DJ, Don Diablo.

I literally JUST discovered this song yesterday during my office day job. Upon first listen, I was transported off to club fantasy land. Here, I sprung out of my seat onto my desk the moment the beat dropped. I ripped off all my clothes, including my ‘sensitives,’ and rocked my whole body wildly while standing on my desk.

In reality, the most I could do without getting fired was tap my feet under my desk and bob my head in a gentle, I-swear-I’m-not-crazy-I-just can-really-dig-this-song kind of way. You know what I mean? Check it.
